CrossFitter Trains With Medicine Ball Taped To His Stomach In Solidarity With Pregnant Wife

“It does not feel good,” he said.

A CrossFitter in Virginia found a funny way to stand (or work out) in solidarity with his pregnant wife.

At CrossFit Krypton in Chesapeake, Virginia, Blake Milchuk worked out with a 14-pound medicine ball duct-taped to his stomach to see what CrossFit is like for his wife, Kristin Milchuk, who is 37 weeks pregnant. The gym posted a video on Instagram on Feb. 18 showing Blake holding on to the ball as he tries to finish his workout.

“It does not feel good,” he said in the video.

The video has been viewed more than 18,000 times in less than a week, and many people have applauded Blake’s efforts. He’s aware, though, that his wife certainly deserves more credit.

“Obviously I understand taping a 14-pound med ball is not in comparison to what she’s done in carrying the baby for the past 37 weeks,” he told USA Today’s For The Win.
