'CSI: Miami': Eva La Rue Wants The Chance To End Series Right (VIDEO)

Eva La Rue Wants The Chance To End 'CSI: Miami' Right

"CSI: Miami" is on the bubble. The traditionally highly-rated yet slumping forensic procedural was not among the 18 shows CBS renewed in mid-March, leaving its status uncertain after its Season 10 finale. Eva La Rue, who plays Detective Natalia Boa Vista on the series, addressed the show's tenuous position on "Live! With Kelly" (weekdays on ABC), and said she thinks they deserve a chance to end the show the right way.

"It's not fair, we didn't get to tie it up right. After 10 seasons, we ended in a bar. That doesn't seem right," La Rue lamented. Season 10 of "CSI: Miami" was cut to 19 episodes to accomodate the premiere of Robert De Niro's rookie cop drama "NYC 22."

La Rue does have a back-up plan if CBS decides not to bring "CSI: Miami" back for a proper series finale, however. She booked a guest-starring role in Mandy Moore's as-yet-untitled ABC pilot in March.
