A 65-year-old Chicago Cubs fan might see himself in some "plays of the season" compilations in October after making an incredible catch on Monday night.
Milwaukee's Mark Reynolds crushed a home run to the left field seats in Wrigley Field, and it looked like the ball was going to clear the bleachers. But a man in a Cubs shirt reached over and made an off-balanced catch. As if the highlight couldn't get any better, the fan then pulled off a switcheroo and threw a ball he had already brought to the stadium onto the field so he could keep the home run souvenir.
Well played, sir.
And with the amazing catch also came an amazing photo.
