Cuomo Threatens Kardashian With Lawsuit Over T-Shirt Logo, According To Letter (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Governor Cuomo Takes On The Kardashian Fashion Empire

You'd think after all the legal trouble the Kardashians faced with their beauty line, Khloe Kardashian would smarten up before shilling any potentially troublesome products. Alas, it looks like the reality star has now stepped on New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's toes -- yes, really.

A graphic t-shirt from Rich Soil, Khloe and Lamar Odom's clothing line, has caught New York state officials' eyes due to its similarity to the Department of Agriculture's "Pride In New York" logo, which is used to label locally-grown food. The New York Daily News has reportedly obtained a letter sent to Rich Soil on Friday from the department's lawyer, Susan Rosenthal, which orders the brand to stop selling the shirt within five days or face legal action.

Fortunately, Khloe stepped out in the garment in question just last week, so we were able to get a good look at it. Upon first glance, we have to admit that the design certainly appears to be inspired by the "Pride In New York" emblem, at the very least.

Like we said, the Kardashians haven't been too savvy when it comes to dodging lawsuits. They just resolved a conflict over their Khroma Beauty line in which they were ordered by the courts to change the brand's name to Kardashian Beauty. Before that, the sisters were embroiled in a $5 million class action lawsuit for their involvement with weight loss supplement QuickTrim. Then there was that whole legal battle that ensued after Kris Jenner got a facelift while promoting anti-aging skincare line Frownies. You get the picture.

As of now, the troublemaking t-shirt is still available on Real Soil's website. Our advice? You might want to play this one safe, Khloe. Check out the shirt and the state's logo below and tell us if you think the designs are too similar.
