CW Fall 2012 Premiere Dates: October Starts For 'The Vampire Diaries' And More

When Do The CW's Shows Premiere This Fall?

The CW has revealed its fall 2012 premiere dates and it's going to be a long summer for those hankering to get back to Mystic Falls. All shows, including "The Vampire Diaries," don't premiere until October.

Rachel Bilson's medical dramedy "Hart of Dixie" starts things off on Tues., Oct. 2. It's new follow-up "Emily Owens, M.D.," starring Mamie Gummer, doesn't premiere until Tues., Oct. 16.

"Supernatural" moves to Wednesdays at 9 p.m. starting on Wed., Oct. 3. "Arrow," based on the DC Comics character Green Arrow, makes its mark on The CW's schedule the following week on Wed., Oct. 10.

"The Vampire Diaries" returns to The CW on Thurs., Oct. 11 with Kristin Kreuk in "Beauty and the Beast" following at 9 p.m. ET.
