Cyndi Lauper Flubs National Anthem At U.S. Open (VIDEO)

WATCH: Cyndi Lauper Flubs National Anthem At U.S. Open

Earlier this year, Christina Aguilera infamously flubbed the lyrics of the national anthem at the Super Bowl, and now Cyndi Lauper did the same at the U.S. Open in New York.

The iconic singer took to the microphone Saturday night after a moment of silence in honor of 9/11, but got the lyrics of "The Star-Spangled Banner" a bit mixed up.

“O’er the ramparts, we watched as our flag was still streaming,” Lauper sang, when the line is, “O’er the ramparts we watch’d were so gallantly streaming.”

Lauper sang before the semifinal match between Serena Williams and Caroline Wozniacki, in which Williams won.
