Dad Raps To Fetal Monitor In Delivery Room (VIDEO)

WATCH: Dad's Awesome Delivery Room Rap

Sometimes labor takes a while, but one father-to-be tried to make the most of his time in the hospital by rapping to his wife's fetal monitor.

And it's just as awesome as it sounds.

The couple was waiting to welcome their fifth child into the world in Aviano, Italy, when the fetal monitor started acting up, MSNBC reports.

Charles McDaniel began using the monitor's beeps to develop a beat, which we admit is pretty neat, but the real kudos go to wife LaQuita, who kept her cool throughout most her husband's musical antics.

Eventually, though, enough is enough. About 50 seconds into the video, the mom-to-be swats at the camera in an effort to stop the free-styling.

The couple eventually welcomed baby boy Kingston Josiah into the world via C-section, according to MSNBC.

And now it's only a matter of time before the story of dad's special delivery room rapping session becomes the focal point of future birthday celebrations.

Who knows, maybe Kingston will develop a certain liking to hip-hop and can eventually break it down with baby freestyler Alim Kamara.

The two-year-old YouTube sensation hasn't mastered his talking skills quite yet, but that doesn't stop him from groovin' to the beat.
