'Dallas': Conspiracy To Completely Destroy The Ewings

On "Dallas," The Ewings are definitely united in the wake of the oil rig explosion, and the deaths of Christopher and Pamela's twin babies. But will they go down together? While it's been fun watching John Ross and Christopher fighting over Ewing Energies, they've come together against a common enemy more powerful than anyone realized. Cliff Barnes in collusion with both the governor and Ryland Harris.

Sue Ellen discovered that Ryland was the governor's biggest campaign contributor not long before the next phase of their master plan against the Ewings was realized. First, the investigation into the explosion by TESHA decided Ewing Energies was completely at fault, fining the company $1 billion. This despite Ken Richards telling Sue Ellen that there were two explosions distinctly heard.

Then came the big one. The Ewings received information that the government had seized the Henderson Well under eminent domain.

"If we can’t pump oil, we can’t pay the fine or the bank," Sue Ellen said.

"This is what they’ve been building toward, Cliff and Ryland," Christopher realized. "They want to see us lose everything."

Gossip and Gab ended the episode very nervous for the Ewings, wondering how they were going to get out of this one. As for Entertainment Weekly, they were shocked that they could hate Steven Weber, who plays the governor, so much.

See how the united Ewings respond as "Dallas" continues on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on TNT.
