Though the entire cast of "Dancing With The Stars'" upcoming season won't officially be announced until Tues., Feb. 26 during "Good Morning America," ABC aired a promo during the Oscars on Sun., Feb. 24 that revealed Jones as a cast member.

The Baltimore Ravens wide receiver showed his moves in the end zone during the Super Bowl XLVII, and eventually led his team to victory.

“He’s already won a Super Bowl ring,” the promo announced. “What’s he going to do next? Dance!”

"Dancing With The Stars" host Tom Bergeron confirmed the news shortly thereafter via Twitter:

In an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" earlier this month, Jones said that he practices his touchdown dances for weeks. "Seriously. I'll do my dances, see what my teammates think of 'em and they'll be like, 'Yeah, do that.' And the night before the game, I'll be in the mirror practicing," he said. When Kimmel asked if he'd compete on "DWTS," he said "Yes sir ... I'm ready, baby."

Jones follows Lawrence Taylor, Emmitt Smith, Hines Ward and many more football greats who have competed on "Dancing With The Stars."

Rumors about the "Dancing With The Stars" Season 16 cast have been flying in recent weeks. According to TMZ, Kellie Pickler will be the first former "American Idol" contestant to join "Dancing With the Stars". Other reported contestants are "Bachelor" star Sean Lowe, Wynonna Judd, Fierce Five Olympian Aly Raisman, and boxer Victor Ortiz. Mama June of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" fame was an early rumor, but TLC shot down reports of the reality star's involvement.

Season 16 could also lose a famous face: Maks Chmerkovskiy is reportedly leaving "Dancing With The Stars" as a pro dancer -- at least for this season.

Reminisce about last season below and check back on Tues., Feb. 26 to see the full cast of "Dancing With The Stars" Season 16.
