"The best thing you can do for a person is to just let them know somebody out there cares."
That's the mantra of Dandelion Dollars -- a movement that promotes "love, joy, and hope" by encouraging people to write uplifting messages on dollar bills before sending them out into the world.
In the video above, Dandelion Dollars asks you to consider this: People across the world are suffering from anxiety, poverty, addiction, and depression. What if you can make a small difference in their lives?
"Remember that part about letting people know that somebody out there cares? All it takes is a dollar, a pen, a minute, and a message."

"Don't over think this folks. Spreading HOPE through 1,000 transactions is just this easy!" the movement's Facebook page reads.
The messages range from as simple as "Hope" and "Love," to ones with "Star Wars" and "Spongebob" references, and historical quotes.
