A multi-car wreck at the weather-delayed 2014 Daytona 500 on Sunday night sent Danica Patrick into the wall and out of the race along with several other drivers.

On lap 146 of 200, Kevin Harvick and Brian Scott's cars touched in the middle of the pack and chaos ensued. Scott ended up hitting driver Aric Almirola on his right, causing him to go sideways and collide into Patrick's car. Patrick -- who had been in the lead earlier marking just second time she had ever led a NASCAR race -- lost control and crashed front-first into the wall before her smokey car skidded onto the grass.

"More than anything, I'm just upset that the car felt really good, felt like we could catch (people) and move forward," Patrick said after the crash, via NASCAR on ESPN.

Drivers Austin Dillon, Parker Kligerman, Michael Waltrip, Paul Menard, David Gilliland, Marcos Ambrose, Josh Wise Kasey Kahne and Justin Allgaier were also involved in the crash, per USA Today Sports.
