Father Arrested For Allegedly Abusing 2-Month-Old Son

Daniel Kim, a 22-year-old Colorado Springs father, has been arrested for allegedly abusing his two-month-old son. The infant was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a skull fracture and other injuries to his face and chest, KRDO reports.

According to The Denver Post, investigators went to Memorial Hospital Central where the infant was being treated to investigate the causes of injury and determined that the 22-year-old father was responsible for causing the injuries to the child.

Along with a fractured skull, the two-month old boy was being treated for possible chest trauma as well as bruises to his head and face, Barbara Miller, a Colorado Springs Police spokeswoman told 7News.

Kim was arrested on charges of felony child abuse causing serious body injury, 9News reports, and has been booked into the El Paso County Sheriff''s Criminal Justice Center.
