Darth Baby's Lightsaber: Toddler Gets Ahold Of 'Star Wars' Weapon, Launches Attack (VIDEO)

Don't mess with this "darth baby."

Posted on Youtube, a found-footage style video entitled "Darth Baby's Lightsaber" shows what happens when a toddler gets his hands on the famous "Star Wars" weapon.

"He's at it again!" someone screams before everyone rushes upstairs to find a hooded baby armed with a lightsaber. The adults and adolescent boys in the video spend the next few minutes trying to disarm the dangerous 1-year-old.

Created by Joel and Jared Erickson of Gnarly Tooth, a small media production company in California, the footage was shot entirely on iPhones and Android smartphones, then edited using Adobe After Effects.

"The whole point of it was what would you do if this was a real situation," the former Erickson, whose 1-year-old stars in the video, told The Huffington Post. So "we just thought of the most destructive thing imaginable."

The brothers chose to stage the short in the style seen in movies like "The Blair Witch Project" and "Cloverfield," not only because they were limited in their camera equipment, but also so the video would feel more situated in the real world.

"If it was more fictionalized, it wouldn't be as effective," Erickson said.

The short was shot over Christmas 2011, but the pair only recently found time to edit the footage. Joel, who has worked as a sound effects editor on films such as "Argo" and "Transformers: Dark of the Moon," took charge on sound, while Jared provided the visual effects.

The end result is an amusing how-to video on what to do if a toddler gets his hands on lightsaber.
