Daryl Parks, Attorney For Trayvon Martin Family, Talks George Zimmerman's Interview With Sean Hannity

EXCLUSIVE: Attorney For Trayvon Martin Family Talks Zimmerman's Fox Interview

Today HuffPost Live host Marc Lamont Hill, along with Jermaine Spradley of HuffPost BlackVoices and Daryl Parks, one of the attorneys representing Trayvon Martin's parents discussed Fox News' interview with George Zimmerman -- his first since shooting Trayvon Martin.

Zimmerman sat down Wednesday with Fox News' Sean Hannity to discuss the events of that night, and to address many of the unanswered questions surrounding the case. He spoke at length about what caused him to notice Martin, the subsequent struggle that ensued and, chillingly, the moment he felt he was "out of time," and had no other recourse but to shoot.

In addition to a step-by-step recounting of that fatal night, Zimmerman also made it clear that he wished there was something he could have done to prevent what happened, but that he believed "it was all God's plan."

The interview provoked wide ranging responses including this statement from Daryl Parks during our conversation:

"Rather than being sincerely apologetic, he throws a bunch of conjecture into the situation that does not apply... when you try to throw God into that type of equation, when you hear statements from Mr. Zimmerman saying that he has no regrets... he has to understand that Trayvon did nothing wrong to start the situation. He was responsible for all of that."
