Cindy Sherman Is GARAGE's Cover Girl (Sort of): The splashy fashion and art magazine GARAGE has released its fourth issue -- and its got an unnerving cover. The theme is the mutability of "modern identity," so the cover takes a cue from the master of mutable identities: Cindy Sherman. Photographer Patrick Demarchelier shot a group of models wearing nightmarish masks of Sherman's face. (The masks were created by reproducing images of the artist via www.thatsmyface.com.) Editor-in-chief Dasha Zhukova writes in her editor's letter that she hopes this issue will help usher in a new era of "complex individuality." [Press Release, GARAGE]
