Dave Grohl Falls Off Stage, 'Breaks Leg' And Still Finishes Show

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl is so rock 'n' roll.

A stage jump gone wrong at his band's show in Gothenburg, Sweden, on Friday left the 46-year-old Foo Fighters musician with a serious leg injury, reports TMZ.

According to Consequence of Sound, the singer fell while performing the band's 1997 hit song "Monkey Wrench," and in video footage from the show, he can be heard telling the audience, "Hey, ladies and gentlemen. I love you, but I think I just broke my leg. I really broke my leg. Right now, I'm gonna go to the hospital. I'm gonna fix my leg. But then I'm gonna come back, and we're gonna play for you again. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry."

Grohl left to seek medical attention, while the band's drummer Taylor Hawkins' filled in for the singer. Grohl ultimately returned to the stage and sang Queen and David Bowie's duet, "Under Pressure."

"I may not be able to walk or run, but I can still play guitar and scream," he told the audience, while sitting in a chair with his leg bandaged.
