Dave Grohl's Doctor Joined The Foo Fighters To Cover The White Stripes

Orthopedic doctors can be rock 'n' roll stars too, if just for one night.

During the Foo Fighters' show at Fenway Park in Boston on Sunday, Dave Grohl's doctor joined the band for a White Stripes cover -- typical orthopedic surgeon duties. Dr. Lew C. Schon is the physician who performed surgery on Grohl's leg, which the frontman broke during a stage-jump in Sweden last month.

During the Foo Fighters' stop in Boston, Schon came on stage to help cover The White Stipes' "Seven Nation Army." While Grohl performed from his light-up guitar throne, which he thought up while on morphine in the hospital, the doctor joined his patient on lead vocals for the White Stripes classic, and totally killed it. (Watch out, Jack White.)

After Schon left the stage, Grohl explained to the crowd who he was."Holy shit, that's actually my doctor," Grohl said. "What a badass." If you need orthopedic work and want to do karaoke after, Dr. Schon is your guy.
