David Niose, president for the Secular Coalition of America and author of "Nonbeliever Nation," joined Ahmed on HuffPost Live to discuss the decline of religion in the U.S.

An October report from the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life showed that 1-in-5 American adults now have no religious affiliation. This group, called the "nones" in the report, has shot up to 19 percent from 15 percent of American adults in a Pew survey five years ago.
