NYT's Star Tech Writer Arrested, Charged In Domestic Dispute

David Pogue, the New York Times' star technology writer, and his wife Jenifer were arrested on Monday at their home in Westport, Conn., the Westport News reported Thursday. According to the paper, both were charged with disorderly conduct "following a domestic dispute...that police said turned physical."

Pogue is one of the Times' more high-profile writers. He writes a popular Thursday column reviewing the latest gadgets and technology news, and blogs and shoots web videos for the paper. In addition, he is a correspondent for CBS News.

According to court files, he and his wife were given orders not to stalk, harass or assault each other. It is not clear what exactly took place between them. The two were arrested at 10:24 PM on Monday.

Pogue was scheduled to speak at a conference about domestic violence on Thursday.
