Dem Leaders Cancel YearlyKos, Clinton Confirms

The YearlyKos website confirmed Friday night that the "Fab Four" would miss a much anticipated "Meet the Leaders" panel because they are stuck in Washington voting on an energy bill. Senator Reid, Speaker Pelosi and Congressman Emanuel were taken off the conference schedule Friday night, Senator Schumer did not confirm cancellation.

On the flip side, Hilary Clinton has now agreed to a breakout session with bloggers before Saturday's Presidential Leadership Forum. The Thursday night announcement that Hillary would not attend the more intimate session drew boos among attendees. The campaign and the YearlyKos staff claimed Clinton's absence was the result of a scheduling misunderstanding which was further clarified by YearlyKos's Executive Director in a post "Senator Clinton Did Not Jilt Kossacks."

Clinton Internet Director Peter Daou also cleared up the "jilt" rumors in an interview with Ari Melber, "Senator Clinton made sure to have her staff rearrange her schedule because she wanted to make sure that people who signed up for the breakout session are able to meet her and speak to her."
