Democracy's Biggest Threat

Face it, you're worried about all of your tweets, texts and Facebook posts that the NSA may have stored in the deep, dark recesses of a computer bank. You may have even rationalized that these invasions of privacy are necessary to protect us from the threats waiting to wreak havoc on our way of life. But what about the threat we have created? While the NSA has been busy snooping on and filing away our electronic communications under the guise of protecting our democracy from international threats, there's a bigger threat to democracy with a local address. Here's my latest commentary on this more immediate threat to our country.
