Democrats Continue To Hammer GOP On Bush Agenda, Launch $28 Million Ad Buy

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee unveiled a new web video this week that hammered home an issue introduced by Rep. Pete Sessions (R-Tex.) last weekend that Republicans were seeking to run on the George W. Bush agenda this year.

Democrats attacked Sessions all week for comments he made on Sunday's "Meet The Press," in which he said: "We need to go back to the exact same agenda that is empowering the free enterprise system rather than diminishing it," implying that the fiscal direction of the Bush years served as benchmark for success."

This latest web video came during a week when the DCCC announced it was embarking on a $28 million television ad campaign that will span 40 at-risk congressional districts.
