Dennis Rodman, Kim Jong Un: Former Basketball Star Claims He'll Vacation With North Korean Leader In August (VIDEO)

Dennis Rodman To Vacation With Kim Jong Un?

Former Chicago Bulls star Dennis Rodman made headlines last month when he went to North Korea and hung out with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Since his return to the U.S., Rodman has been making a series of stops to tout the North Korean leader -- calling him a "great guy" on ABC's This Week -- prompting Secretary of State John Kerry to quip to NBC's Andrea Mitchell: "Dennis Rodman was a great basketball player...And as a diplomat, he is a great basketball player. And that’s where we’ll leave it."

In an interview with CNN affiliate KXJB, Rodman now claims that he will return to the country in August to vacation with Kim Jong Un (check out his remarks around the 1:46 mark in the video above). If this is the case, where would the, err, dynamic duo go? How about Pyongyang's fancy 105-story Ryugyong Hotel, which sits unfinished more than 20 years after construction began? After all, Kempinski will be managing the hotel, which reportedly will include shops, offices, ballrooms, restaurants and 150 guest rooms, so it's bound to be nice.

Check it out--as well as scenes from around North Korea--below. Where do you think they should vacation?
