Denver News Station Does 'Anchorman'-Style Retro News Segment

Local News Station Does Hilarious 'Anchorman'-Style Retro News Segment

Watch out Ron Burgundy, Denver's 9News is putting the "action" back into the news.

"Good morning Denver, we've got an action-packed show for you today -- even if we did have to make some of it up," real Denver news anchor Gary Shapiro says in a fake news anchor mustache as the segment begins.

Denver's KUSA-TV posted the hilariously retro news segment Friday morning and it's complete with vintage costumes, video from Denver's past (complete with vintage 9News broadcasters) and some very swanky music.

Denver's KUSA-TV is on a comedy roll. In November, a video of news anchor Kyle Clark hilariously begging viewers to stop sending in pictures of their snow-covered patio furniture went viral.

Stay classy, Denver.
