DeShawn Shead Proposes To Jessica Martinez On The Field After Seattle Seahawks Game

The game may have been over, but DeShawn Shead of the Seattle Seahawks wasn't done. After his team beat the Denver Broncos, 26-20, on Sunday in Seattle, Shead summoned his girlfriend Jessica Martinez onto the field, took a knee and proposed.

And with Bruno Mars playing over the stadium's speakers, Martinez said the magic word:

“Football is what brought me to Washington, for me to meet her, so I think this is a big part of our relationship,” Shead told KIRO after the big moment.

He also sent out an image via Instagram:

Martinez called it the best day of her life and sent out an image of her own:
