'Dexter' Trailer: Deb Wants To 'Make An Official Statement' In Full-Length Look At Final Season 8 (VIDEO)

'I Want To Make An Official Statement'

The first full-length trailer for "Dexter's" eighth and final season is here!

Fans of the serial killer Showtime series have seen plenty of teasers, but the "Dexter" trailer (above) gives even more insight into just how messed up Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) is when Season 8 picks up and the kind of trouble newcomer Miami Metro newcomer Dr. Evelyn Vogel (Charlotte Rampling) is going to cause for Dexter (Michael C. Hall).

"A better person would feel bad about LaGuerta's death, but the truth is, it solved all my problems," Dexter says at the start of the three-minute "Dexter" trailer. Meanwhile, Deb is having sex, drinking out of brown paper bags and also indulging in a cocktail of prescription meds: Xanax, Paxil and Adderall, to name a few.

Though fans have seen Deb lash out at Dexter in previous teaser ("I shot the wrong person in that trailer" still gives us chills), the new "Dexter" trailer shows just how bad things get for the former lieutenant. She gets arrested for a DUI and appears to drunkenly wander into Miami Metro, saying, "I want to make an official statement," as Dex peers through the blinds.

We also see Dr. Vogel -- who Dexter says is "the last person I need looking in my direction right now" -- question the titular character about the Bay Harbor Butcher and later in the "Dexter" trailer, he shoves her against a wall.

There's plenty of violence, plenty of stabbing and plenty of shooting ... from both Dexter and Deb all while Johnny Cash's "God's Gonna Cut You Down" plays in the background.

Watch the full-length "Dexter" trailer above and tell us, are you looking forward to Season 8?

"Dexter's" eighth and final season premieres on Sunday, June 30 at 9 p.m. ET on Showtime.
