Dickman Brothers' Poetry: Narrative Magazine's Friday Feature (VIDEO)

Narrative Magazine: Identical twin brothers Matthew and Michael Dickman have come to the forefront of young American poets simultaneously, each brother with a style all his own. Matthew's poems are great American ballads, anthems, celebrations, and meditations with echoes of Twain, Whitman, Frost, and Dos Passos. Michael writes in a more transcendental and existential vein, suggesting a fusion of Emerson and Kafka, had Kafka been a soul whose song moved as much on happiness as sorrow. First published in Narrative Magazine and later profiled in The New Yorker, these two brothers are setting off a new rage for poetry.
