Until recently, we had no idea that there were so many people around who never cook with dill. For those of us with any Eastern European roots whatsoever, that's a pretty foreign concept. Our parents and grandparents sprinkle dill into everything from soup to brisket to bread and beyond.
Dill is amazing because it's really, really hard to use too much of. This herb brightens everything up with a springy, verdant quality that a lot of our fall and winter dishes cry out for. Need to take your borscht to the next level? Put some dill in it. Tired of regular pesto? Toss some dill in there. If we missed your favorite way to use dill, let us know in the comments!
