A Taxidermy-Filled Home Is A Shocking Surprise For Party Guest (PHOTOS)

Talk about unusual souvenirs...

Seeing someone's home for the first time can give you a deeper look into who they truly are. After all, our homes really are reflections of our personalities. But what happens when you learn something very unexpected after taking a peek inside?

Well, that's exactly what happened to Reddit user sweete_d, who attended a dinner party and was shocked to find the hosts have quite a sweet spot for taxidermy.

sweete_d writes that the home was filled with 50-75 animals. And surprisingly, none were purchased. "The family goes to Africa for 6 weeks every year and has a gun vault the size of most peoples homes," the poster learned.

We're wondering how we'd react if we walked into the same situation. We all have our decor preferences, but this is a little overwhelming. Our most pressing concern however, is about where this dinner party took place. Just thinking about staring into an alligator's open mouth is enough to make us lose our appetite.

Check out some photos of this safari-themed home below. Let us know what you think and if you've ever been in a similar situation.
