While the American Psychological Association would appear to confirm the graffiti writer's statistic, arriving at an accurate number for how many marriages end in divorce is much more complicated. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the divorce rate is hovering around 3.6 per 1,000 people per year. Still -- he made his point!
