Jill Alexander isn't your ordinary fashion reseller. She's the founder of The Divorcée Sale, where their tagline is "Her Past. Your Future."

I invited Jill into my closet to get her opinion on what should stay, and what should go as I move on to another chapter in my life. It felt like the scene in the Sex and the City movie, where Carrie and her friends collectively decided on what she would keep as her life was moving forward with Big.

One-by-one, we mastered the dress closet, the purse closet, and finally breezed through the designer tops. My prized pieces are being prepared for her second event to be held on July 22nd-24th at Pelican Hill in Newport Coast.

The best part of the experience is in knowing that a portion of the sales benefits charity. Both Jill's personal friend Meredith Israel and Breast Cancer Relief Foundation will be the recipients of a portion of the sales.

According to Jill, "It's a win-win-win. Women get to shed their past and cleanse, some get to buy beautiful designer items at a fraction of the cost, and a portion goes to charity."
