DIY Nail Art: Halloween-Inspired Mummy Manicure (PHOTOS)

Who said that Halloween nail art had to be frightening?

When it comes to dressing up for Halloween, costumes usually go in two directions: cute or creepy. But between all the gory makeup kits, fake sharp fangs and zombie masks that fill the display windows at local vintage shops, drugstores and of course, Ricky's, the holiday can be pretty frightening. So we're hoping to add a bit of sweetness to our spooktacular get-up with this girly mummy manicure we stumbled upon on Tumblr.

Galdina of the blog Nailuscious gave these corpses a feminine touch, complete with fluttery eyelashes and tiny bows. She also incorporates the popular saran wrap technique (which creates a marble effect on nails) by layering lilac polish on top of a bright pink shade. Click through the slideshow below for the seven steps behind this nail art.
