Reddit User JeremiahGorman Builds His Son A DIY Spaceship Bed

And some adults.

Getting your five-year-old to go to sleep is sometimes a difficult task, but we're guessing Reddit user JeremiahGorman no longer has that problem. Earlier this week he posted a series of photos of the amazing DIY spaceship bed he built himself as his son's upcoming birthday gift.

To make this structure look like the real thing, he used old electronics, like keyboards and joysticks that were donated by friends, and was lucky to find a master control board in the dumpster outside a local television station. After he lofted the bed and put the dashboard underneath, he added some dramatic lighting and a realistic-looking NASA logo. His son is now ready for takeoff.
