Do You Want to Make More Money?

The one question nobody has ever said "no" to:
Do you want to make more money?

Almost every New Year's resolution list includes something about making more money.

By asking for a raise.

Getting a promotion.

Perhaps starting a side business to generate additional income

Or taking a leap of faith to start your own entrepreneurial business.

All are good options for generating more income. But what happens if these options aren't realistic for your situation?

You are not in the running for a promotion and you received a raise only a few months ago.

You have absolutely no desire to go down the entrepreneurial path.

And you would prefer death by a thousand cuts before spending one more minute working at anything - no matter what the potential financial rewards are.

Relationship Tool that Rakes in More Money

Before you resign yourself to another year of stressing out over not having enough money to live the life you want - consider this relationship tool that rakes in more money. It's very powerful and yet often overlooked when people "strategize" about increasing their wealth.

The Likeability Factor

Have you considered your "likeability" factor?
Research shows the more likeable you are at work, the greater your chances of getting hired, getting a raise, and getting a promotion.

And people that develop healthy relationship skills are often well liked.

An article published in The Wall Street Journal written by Sue Shellenbarger on March 26, 2014 states: "Likeable people are more apt to get hired, get help at work, get useful information from others and have mistakes forgiven."

Do you know how well liked you are at work by your colleagues, your managers and your subordinates?

Do you know what people say about you when you are not in earshot?

You should - because how well you are liked will have a significant impact on your income.

I look forward to continuing this conversation with you when my new book titled: Money Can Buy You Happiness: Secrets Women Need to Know to Get Paid What They Are Worth! comes out on January 26, 2016.
