Soggy Dog Weathers Rainstorm Thanks To Kindhearted Strangers

A story to make your tail wag.

When it's raining cats and dogs, sometimes all you can do is seek shelter and ride out the storm. And when you're a dog in that situation, if you're lucky, the shelter comes to you.

Two strangers came to the rescue of a soggy dog in Dover, England, earlier this week. The dog's owner had left it chained to a pole, not realizing there was rain on the horizon. The passersby stopped and stretched a jacket out over the animal, and stayed even though they got soaked.

A Gala Bingo spokesperson told The Huffington Post the two remained with the dog for a full 20 minutes until its owner returned. Both the human and the dog were very grateful.
