Dollar Bills Fall At Safeco Field During Mariners-Twins Game (VIDEO)

Money Mysteriously Rains Down On Fans At MLB Game

Some fans at Safeco Field for the Mariners-Twins game on Sunday may have left the stadium with some extra cash.

During the seventh inning stretch, broadcasters were flummoxed when money appeared to fall from the sky along the right field line. As the bills fluttered down to the lower levels, fans below were eager to fill their pockets. Even the announcers in the broadcast booth were tempted to get in on the action.

According to Fox Sports, the stunt was a promotion for to publicize an event that will supposedly coincide with the Seattle Seahawks’ home opener. The Associated Press reported that a fan in the third deck was the one letting the dollar bills fly.
