Dominique Strauss-Kahn Lawyers Meet With New York Prosecutors

DSK's Lawyers Meet With Prosecutors

Lawyers representing the hotel maid who accused former IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn of sexual assault met with New York prosecutors on Tuesday, though it was not immediately clear what they discussed.

Reporters saw lawyers Kenneth Thompson and Douglas Wigdor enter the office of Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance. The lawyers did not respond to questions on their way in.

A spokeswoman for Vance referred queries to Thompson.

Thompson has asked Vance to take himself off the case and is also seeking a tape recording of the accuser's conversation with a man in an Arizona jail.

Prosecutors have cited that conversation and other statements by the accusers as demonstration of a lack of credibility, which have put the case against Strauss-Kahn in jeopardy.
