Donald Trump Gives Himself Advice In The Middle Of His Own Speech

"Stay on point, Donald, stay on point. No side tracks Donald, nice and easy."

Donald Trump paused in the middle of a speech in Florida on Wednesday to remind himself to keep his cool ahead of Tuesday’s election.

He said:

“In six days, we’re going to win the great state of Florida, and we are going to win the White House, gonna win it. It’s feeling like it already, isn’t it? We’re going to be nice and cool, nice and cool, stay on point, Donald, stay on point. No side tracks Donald, nice and easy.”

Trump’s soliloquy was apparently meant to mock the advice of his advisers. He followed it up by taking a shot at rival Hillary Clinton, who he called “totally unhinged.”

“We don’t want any of that,” he said. “She has become unhinged.”

The current HuffPollster model has Clinton ahead in the Sunshine State by 3 points.

Editor’s note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims — 1.6 billion members of an entire religion — from entering the U.S.
