Donald Trump, Chuck Todd Clash On MSNBC (VIDEO)

WATCH: Donald Trump Flips Out At Chuck Todd

Donald Trump and NBC's Chuck Todd got into a heated argument on Todd's MSNBC show, "The Daily Rundown," on Monday.

Trump (who happens to have a new book out) has stirred things up a bit in the Republican race for the presidency when he announced that he will moderate a presidential debate at the end of December. On Monday's "Today," Todd cited an NBC News poll that found that, by a two-to-one margin, voters in New Hampshire were less likely to support a candidate who Trump endorsed.

Trump happened to be the next guest on "Today," where he took issue with Todd. The two later transferred their argument to MSNBC. Trump was in a fighting mood, to say the least. Todd struggled to get a word in edgewise.

He first argued with Todd about his even being on the show. Todd had teased the appearance by saying Trump wanted to "respond" to the poll numbers.

"I didn't even know what poll you were talking about!" Trump shouted. "Your people called my office about 40 times." He called Todd "dishonest" and asked him to "say it like it is," saying, "I actually think you would get better ratings."

Todd said his bookers had talked to Trump's representatives on the understanding that Trump wanted to respond to the poll.

"I didn't want to respond!" Trump said. "I'm doing NBC a favor." He also said that the poll was faulty, since "I have a huge following of people."

"I'm not interested in debating you," Todd said. "You have to tell the truth, Chuck!" Trump shot back. The interview continued its downward trend from there.
