President Donald Trump predicted Tuesday that “people would revolt” if he was impeached by Democrats in 2019.
Trump’s claim came in a Reuters interview on recent developments in special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and possible Trump campaign collusion.
Dozens of Twitter users responded with a tweaked version of Trump’s quote:
I think he has confused the word “revolt” with “rejoice.”
