Donald Trump Just Agreed With Rosie O'Donnell's Tweet From 6 Months Ago

Is this real life?

We’ve come to expect President Donald Trump’s petty tweets, but this one is particularly bizarre.

On Thursday afternoon, Trump fired off a tweet in response to a Rosie O’Donnell tweet. Considering the tension between the two of them, this isn’t out of character.

But the tweet was from six months ago. And he was agreeing with what Rosie said:

Rosie’s tweet read as follows:

Rosie’s sent out her tweet at the end of December 2016, in response to a Twitter discussion about Hillary Clinton’s vice chair Huma Abedin’s emails and what they revealed about Comey’s intrusion on the election.

Trump’s tweet, which was sent from an iPhone, could have come from the president or one of his staffers. But Twitter began guessing how Trump (or a staffer) came across Rosie’s old tweet:

But we have no way of knowing if Trump found out about Twitter’s Advanced Search feature or otherwise.

One working theory as to how this came about is that Trump, or someone he talks to, checks out the r/The_Donald subreddit.

A post on the subreddit with two Comey-related tweets from Rosie went up at 3:32pm EST. Trump’s tweet went out at 3:55pm EST.

Is Donald Trump and/or the White House reading this subreddit?

Curious. Very curious.

As for Rosie, she responded to Trump’s tweet to her with an apt subtweet a little less than an hour later:

Rosie also responded directly to Trump’s tweet at her, calling Trump “sadistic”:

Additionally, she apparently texted MSNBC’s Nicolle D. Wallace saying Trump’s tweet was “a clear indication of his seriously declining mental health.. this is no joke.”

This post has been updated with additional tweets from Rosie.
