Donald Trump Picks Up 9 Delegates In Northern Mariana Islands

Citizens of the U.S. territory cannot vote in the general election in November.

GOP front-runner Donald Trump won the Republican caucus in the Northern Mariana Islands on Tuesday.

Trump won all 9 delegates with 72.8 percent of vote, according to Jason Osborne, the executive director of the local Republican Party.

Similar to other U.S. territories, citizens in the Northern Mariana Islands cannot vote in the general presidential in November.

The Northern Mariana Islands are a group of 15 remote islands in the Pacific Coast. The local party said 471 people voted in Tuesday's caucus.
