Before becoming the rabble-rousing headlining act of the GOP presidential primary circus, Donald Trump was famous for uttering a single phrase, over and over again: “You’re fired.”
And despite having a handful of things in common with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell -- they’re both powerful, polarizing leaders in their respective fields, who have likely made more enemies than friends in recent years -- Trump made quite clear how he felt about Goodell at a recent campaign event in Lowell, Massachusetts, when asked whether he’d knock the commish down a peg if given the chance.
