Donald Trump Tweeted About Enlisting The Full Potential Of Women. It Fell Short.

"Does this involve calling them pigs and grabbing them by the genitals?"

President Donald Trump faced an immediate backlash after he tweeted a clip about women on Thursday night.

During what was supposed to be a rousing video featuring his address during the Women’s Empowerment Panel at the White House, Trump said that “only by enlisting the full potential of women in our society” would we be able to Make America Great again.

Given his history of misogynistic and sexist behavior, Trump’s call-to-arms sparked outrage on Twitter. Hundreds reminded the president of his offensive hot mic comments on that 2005 bus ride with former “Access Hollywood” host Billy Bush, his signing of an anti-abortion executive order whilst surrounded entirely by men and his spat with former Fox News host Megyn Kelly.
