Donny Deutsch opened up his Upper East Side townhouse Monday night for a book party celebrating "Today" show co-host Hoda Kotb's "Hoda: How I Survived War Zones, Bad Hair, Cancer and Kathie Lee."

The townhouse — an incredible five-story property that Deutsch bought for $21 million in 2006 — is in the final stages of renovations, and only the first three floors were ready for Monday night's party, meaning guests couldn't sneak up to the hot tub on Deutsch's roof.

Instead, Deutsch's all-male catering staff passed around mini-bottles of PatrĂłn tequila, rum-and-cokes in tiny Coca-Cola bottles and Framboise alongside hors d'oeuvres including short rib burgers and fries, lobster rolls, salmon and caviar, and grilled cheese sandwiches.

"We have to give a big, big kiss to Donny Deutsch," Hoda said on-air Tuesday morning. "His house, by the way, is insane."

On hand to toast Hoda were many NBC colleagues, including her "Today" show fourth hour co-host Kathie Lee Gifford, fellow "Today" show co-hosts Matt Lauer and Al Roker, outgoing NBC CEO Jeff Zucker, NBC News boss Steve Capus, "Today" show Executive Producer Jim Bell, Lester Holt, Suze Orman and Dan Abrams as well as Joan Rivers, Andy Cohen, Gayle King, Tory Burch and Dave Zinczenko.
