Third-grader Makenzie Melton's drawing, "Rainforest Habitat," has been announced as the winner of Google's 'Doodle 4 Google' competition.

Held annually, Doodle 4 Google invites K-12 kids to design and submit a Google logo inspired by a set theme. This year's theme: "If I Could Do Anything, I Would ..."

Melton, 9, said of her Doodle:

I chose this doodle because the rainforest is in danger and it is not fair to the plants and animals. I love everything except spiders and snakes, but I would still save them.
