Doug Hutchison Pulls Out Of Film Over 'Sexual Content'

The story of 51-year-old actor Doug Hutchison marrying a beaming teen bride already sounded like a story scripted for the movies, but now it's the other way around. The "Lost" actor, who has been keeping busy with 17-year-old wife Courtney Stodden at the pumpkin patch and pitching their own reality TV show, has pulled out of a film project over concerns regarding his character's appropriateness. To wit: Hutchison was cast as a director who engages in a "strange and scandalous relationship with the teenage pop star he casts," according to the film production company, via RadarOnline.

Given the couple's recent notoriety and booming tabloid popularity, Hutchison nixing potentially creepy press comes as a refreshingly wise decision amidst his wife's overly sexual tweets and questionable Sunday attire.

Still, director Richard O'Sullivan -- who initially called it "perfect casting" -- told the website: "I know it's gonna surprise a lot of people to hear this, but Doug was legitimately concerned about some of the sexual content and how people might not be able to separate who he is as a person from the character he was playing."
