Doctor... A two-syllable word that means so much to so many people. To some, it means prestige, to others, it's synonymous with cold and sterile hospitals, but to most, it means a helping hand. For Atlanta based plastic surgeon Dr. Wright Jones, it is apparent that the latter is true.
During our one-on-one conversation, it was obvious that he chose to become a physician to pursue his passion—helping his fellow man, woman and child.
Born in Hawkinsville Georgia (population 5,507) and raised on his family's farm, Dr. Jones comes from a large, loving family. One of 10 children, he is no stranger to hard work, fighting to stand out and establishing his place in the grand scheme.
If you saw him on the Lifetime TV show, you barely scratched the surface of the man behind the scalpel. From his time on air, you wouldn't know that he loves a shiny sportscar, sits on the floor when he goes back home to the country for Thanksgiving, or that he is the founder of a non-profit organization.
On this sunny Atlanta day, from his luxurious high-rise office, he chronicled his life from childhood chores on the farm to the difficulties of medical school to ultimately opening a thriving, multi-office plastic surgery practice overlooking the Buckhead bustle. The award-winning surgeon started with a master plan and has risen to the top of his own dreams.

About the non-profit:
The Surgeons Touch Foundation is a community outreach program that searches for and provides cosmetic surgery to children who could not otherwise afford it, in exchange for sweat equity efforts in their own communities. Though still in it's novel stage, on June 14th, 2017, the nonprofit organization is hosting a celebrity chef competition to kick off summer fundraising.
