Draco Malfoy Was Played By A Gryffindor

"Harry Potter" villain Draco Malfoy is one of the most notorious Slytherins around. But as it turns out, the actor who plays him belongs to another house.

Tom Felton took to Twitter on Wednesday to share news that he had joined Harry Potter fan site Pottermore only to be sorted into Gryffindor. Though the news came as quite a shock to the actor, it was no surprise at all for series author J.K. Rowling, who tweeted back at the star:

The fact that this conversation happened for all the world is quite a #blessing. Sometimes the Internet really is just like magic.
