Drake Bell, the actor best known for his role on the Nickelodeon show "Drake & Josh," was arrested Monday on suspicion of driving under the influence in Glendale, California, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Bell, 29, was reportedly pulled over at West Doran Street and San Fernando Road at 2:20 a.m. as police saw him swerving and speeding after stopping at a red light, Glendale Police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot told the LA Times.
Lightfoot also said that the officer who stopped the actor smelled alcohol coming from his car. Bell then reportedly failed a sobriety test.
TMZ reporter Dominic Anthony tweeted a photo of Bell's mugshot on Tuesday:
The California-native was given a citation and the local authorities will present the case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office when the investigation is complete, E! news reports.
The arrest comes after Bell announced a series of concerts, set to begin on February 5, 2016.
Bell's publicist and lawyer were not immediately available for comment.
